AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate care to residents in our Ontario communities. You will assist with monitoring and documentation under the care plan, participate in ongoing training, and support onboarding for new staff.

Adherence to IPAC policies is required to ensure a safe environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, respect, and high-quality resident care, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Know procedures and techniques for simple bedside care and sanitation for geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring care to ensure it aligns with the care plan and report findings to the supervisor.
• Assist in documenting resident information as directed.
• Attend in-service education, staff meetings, and workshops; participate in onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
