Job summary

Desjardins Insurance Agency in Oakville is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Representative to join an independent contractor Desjardins agent network. This full-time role focuses on developing commercial business and delivering prompt, friendly service to clients.

You will identify customer needs, present appropriate insurance products, and work with the agent to hit marketing goals while earning uncapped commission on top of salary.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in outside/inside sales or related roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Commercial Business.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. This can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
