Job summary

Bridgehead Coffee at 1172 Bank St is hiring a part-time Shift Supervisor to lead the team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and uphold Bridgehead’s quality, hospitality, and care standards.

You’ll train Baristas, manage store operations in the manager’s absence, ensure cleanliness and safety, and foster a positive, inclusive culture while maintaining accurate cash handling and records.

Qualifications

• Min 1+ years in Shift Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Customer-focused hospitality mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certified Food Handler before contract signing.
• Post-secondary training in Hospitality, Business, or Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and ensure seamless operations in the manager’s absence.
• Motivate and guide team to deliver warm hospitality and outstanding coffee experiences.
• Model Bridgehead standards for cleanliness, quality, and efficiency.
• Train, coach, and mentor Baristas for consistency and skill development.
• Maintain positive, inclusive team culture and respond to customer needs.
• Support record-keeping, cash handling, and adherence to procedures.
• Lead by example in professionalism, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ensure health and safety standards for customers and team.
• Champion Bridgehead’s sustainability, fair trade, and community engagement.
