Job summary

Forecast Coffee is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a cafe team on shift, ensuring warm guest service, product quality, and smooth daily operations.

You will work with the store manager to train staff, manage inventory, uphold Food Safe and WorkSafe policies, and deliver the brand experience Forecast is known for.

All applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and bring barista experience and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year previous customer service experience, preferably at Lead Hand level (or higher).
• Barista training and experience.
• Knowledge, interest and understanding of coffee, roasting processes and origin.
• Food Safe Level 1.
• Serve-it-Right Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Connecting with guests as soon as they enter your location, welcoming them with a friendly, confident demeanour.
• Educate guests on procedures, policies, dine-in/take-out options and safety policies.
• Prepare quality foods and beverages in a timely manner while upholding guest experience standards.
• Assist guests in decisions by providing knowledge on products and dietary options.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, policies, and procedures and support management with feedback.
