Job summary

Little Burgundy Crossiron Mills in Alberta is seeking an assistant to the Store Manager and Manager In Training to recruit, hire, train, and manage store personnel to achieve sales goals and protect company assets.

You will help recruit high-caliber staff, train a successful sales team, and coach employees to meet performance standards while upholding company policies. The role emphasizes delivering a fun, full-service shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in fast-paced retail environment.
• Bilingualism as required (Quebec only) **

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high caliber employees.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing all company policies.
• Ensure that all company initiatives are properly implemented and to the standard of the company direction.
• Communicate stock replenishment needs to District Sales Manager and related departments.
• Recognize talented staff and develop them for growth within the company.
• Supervise and manage daily store operations in absence of Store Manager/Manager In Training.
• Supervise Loss Prevention practices in absence of Store Manager/Manager In Training.
• Resolve customer issues effectively and provide a fun, full service experience.
