Job summary

Little Burgundy, a branded footwear retailer, is seeking a Store Manager in training to assist the Store Manager and Training Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising store personnel to achieve sales goals and protect company assets.

You will participate in building a high-performing sales team, provide coaching, and ensure company initiatives are executed. Flexible scheduling with 40 hours per week in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in fast-paced retail environment.
• Bilingual in English and French (Quebec) required.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high-caliber employees for in-store needs.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing company policies.
• Ensure all company initiatives are implemented per company direction.
• Communicate stock replenishment needs to District Sales Manager, Distribution, and Buying and Merchandising departments.
• Recognize talented staff and develop them for growth within the company.
• Supervise and manage daily store operations in the absence of Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Oversee Loss Prevention practices in the absence of Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Communicate store needs effectively to Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Resolve customer issues and provide a fun, full-service experience to all customers.
