Description

Make an impact with our ease Cloud Accounting Services team as Cloud Application Support. This diverse team of professionals are dedicated to exceeding clients’ unique needs within a rapidly evolving business and financial reporting landscape. As a trusted advisor, you’ll use cutting-edge technology to deliver a full suite of services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting and payroll administration.

Responsibilities

• Execute implementations and convert client files from desktop applications (e.g., QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50) to cloud accounting applications (e.g., QBO, Xero, Sage Business Cloud)
• Support chart of accounts mapping from the legacy system to the new application
• Identify data quality issues and errors, investigate discrepancies and discuss with onboarding team to develop resolutions
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve MNP’s cloud accounting integration methodology
• Work collaboratively with the ease Onboarding team to meet client requirements
• Monitor and manage support request inboxes

Skills and Experience

• Accounting certificate or a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting, finance or management information systems (MIS) major is considered an asset)
• Experience executing accounting system implementations; conversion experience moving from desktop-based products to cloud applications is preferred
• Knowledge of the bookkeeping process
• Experience working with desktop-based small business accounting packages, including QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50 and/or other legacy desktop products
• Experience working with cloud-based accounting packages is considered an asset (e.g., QBO, Xero, Sage Business Cloud)
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Image editing software (i.e., GIMP, Snag It)
• Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset
