Job summary

LLRIB Health Clinic seeks a strong leader to supervise frontline staff, plan, direct and evaluate service delivery in collaboration with Program Managers.

The role requires effective communication with the Program Manager, a mix of knowledge and administrative skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Experience with First Nations communities is an asset; a diploma in administration/health is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Administration and/or Health field.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and public relations skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day management of the Health Clinic.
• Develop/oversee schedules & assigned tasks in each program.
• Maintain effective communications with Management Team; advise on staffing, equipment, and facility needs.
• Ensure community recommendations are implemented where appropriate.
• Participate in Health Services Operational Planning.
• Address employee conflicts and disciplinary actions with HR support.
• Evaluate budgetary requests including travel, continuing education, POs, and overtime per Finance policies.
