LLRIBHS in Canada is seeking a compassionate Community Health Representative to empower community members to make healthy decisions. You will support health staff, teach health promotion, and act as a liaison between residents and the health team.
Working 7.5-hour shifts with potential overtime, the CHR engages with First Nations communities, organizes workshops and clinics, and helps with consent, transport, and event planning.
We are looking for a compassionate, caring, patient person, with an upbeat attitude and strong interpersonal skills. You will need to remain calm during hectic and changing situations. The Community Health Representative (CHR) demonstrates, teaches and provides support and encouragement so community members plan and make healthy decisions.
