The HUB International Canada team in British Columbia is hiring an Auto Insurance Trainee who will actively sell insurance solutions, hit targets, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. A fast-paced, results-driven environment awaits you as you start a career with unlimited potential.

No prior insurance experience is required; comprehensive training will help you earn your Level 1 General Insurance License within your first 30 days, paving the way for professional growth within HUB.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners.
• Promote and sell ICBC and private insurance to meet sales targets.
• Process auto insurance transactions: renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, payments.
• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products.
• Support the branch with calls, admin tasks, and inventory restocking.

A Day in the Life

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners
• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
• Process a variety of auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments, and more
• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value for clients and drive performance metrics
• Support your branch by taking phone calls, managing administrative tasks, and restocking inventory

Salary Expectations –

The expected salary range for this position is $41,600 to $45,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
