Job summary

HUB International is hiring an Auto Mobile Associate to build, serve and maintain relationships with clients and local dealerships in the community, providing diverse auto insurance products. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our field network and delivering tailored risk solutions.

The role requires a Level 2 General Insurance License, strong customer service and sales drive, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with weekend and evening

Qualifications

As an Auto Mobile Associate, reporting to the Branch Manager, you will build, serve, and maintain relationships with clients and local dealerships throughout the community to provide diverse insurance coverage and products.

A day in the life

• Build relationships with clients, colleagues and dealership representatives to grow your professional network.
• Proactively and creatively offer solutions using a diverse selection of ICBC and private insurance products while achieving performance targets.
• Process a wide variety of auto insurance transactions including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments and more.
• Develop new business by cross selling and making referrals to Personal & Commercial Lines.

Salary Expectations – The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure, ie., base salary plus commission. As such, the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidate’s book of business at a particular time. The expected base salary for this position is $44,000.00 to $50,000.00, plus commissions will be paid based on successful sales performance. The total compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
