Job summary

HUB International in Williams Lake, BC is seeking an Auto Insurance Trainee. You will actively sell ICBC and private auto insurance, build client relationships, and hit daily targets while providing exceptional service. Training is provided and a Level 1 Insurance License is attainable within 30 days.

No insurance experience is required; a high school diploma is the baseline, and a license is an asset. This is a results-focused entry path into insurance sales.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and obtain Level 1 General Insurance License within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, teammates and dealership partners
• Promote and sell ICBC and private auto insurance products to meet targets
• Process auto insurance transactions: renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations
• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products
• Assist branch by handling calls, admin tasks and inventory restocking

A Day in the Life

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners


• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets


• Process a variety of auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments, and more


• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value for clients and drive performance metrics


• Support your branch by taking phone calls, managing administrative tasks, and restocking inventory

Salary Expectations

Salary Expectations – The expected salary range for this position is $41,600 to $45,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
