Job summary

Relais Magpie Relay Motel & Resort in Canada is seeking a housekeeping professional for a permanent, 35-hour weekly role. The position supports hotel operations with cleaning, laundry, and guest assistance, with optional on-site staff accommodations.

Ideal candidates have a secondary school diploma and 1–2 years of relevant experience, and must be available for typical hotel shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of housekeeping experience.
• Willing to work in a hotel, motel, resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute towels and toiletries, stock linen.
• Clean kitchens and bathrooms, fixtures and appliances.
• Launder clothing and linens, light housekeeping.
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings; clean changing rooms and showers.
• Attend to guests' requests for supplies and information.
