Job summary

Canalta Hotels in Alberta is seeking a housekeeping attendant to join our team. You will clean rooms, change linens, restock supplies, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, wash windows and respond to guest requests for extra items.

Qualifications include no formal degree, 2–3 years of related experience may be required, and fluent English. This is a permanent, full-time role with a 32-hour work week and benefits including dental, disability, health care and vision plans.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
