Job summary

Kibbi in Capitale-Nationale, Quebec is seeking a construction laborer to load and unload materials on urban worksites, and assist in erecting forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades. You will help frame houses, build walls and roofs, and manage salvaged materials.

Expect physically demanding, repetitive tasks in various locations, on outdoor sites with noisy and dusty conditions. Day shifts; permanent, on-site employment offered.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate required.
• 7 months to less than 1 year experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials; perform routine maintenance work.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
