Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to work with the Pre-Construction and project management teams on performance, cost, schedule, safety and quality. The role requires civil construction experience, the ability to read drawings, and willingness to travel across provinces and territories.

You will support budgeting, scheduling and risk management while ensuring safety and quality programs are followed. Aecon emphasizes development, inclusion and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or diploma or equivalent training.
• 3 to 5 years of combined civil construction experience in a project execution role.
• Must be open to rotational work and travel throughout provinces/territories.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Site administration activities including tracking hours, subtrade tickets and KPIs.
• Create project Purchase Order requisitions for approval and submission.
• Communicate plans, risks, issues and updates with stakeholders.
• Field queries from external stakeholders and coordinate responses.
• Produce Daily Construction Reports for approval and submission.
• Review monthly quantities for contract progress and reconcile estimates.
