Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator for a site-based role in Fort Saskatchewan. You will support multiple project teams—project managers, construction managers, superintendents, engineering, procurement, and controls—to help deliver industrial construction projects safely and on schedule.

The role requires strong organizational skills and effective cross-team communication. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with Navisworks and SAP experience considered assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction field.
• Experience with project controls, procurement, or document control is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work site-based.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procurement activities and purchase requisitions.
• Support project reporting with data collection and dashboards.
• Maintain project documentation and logs.
• Coordinate drawing reviews and document control.
• Support material tracking and vendor coordination.
• Assist with schedules, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Use SAP for project administration and requisitions.
• Review drawings and models using Navisworks.
• Coordinate field activities with piping, mechanical, quality, and construction teams.
