Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a dedicated Centre Director to lead operations at Maple Grove Centre, ON. You will manage staff recruitment, training, policies, licensing compliance, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children.

Key responsibilities include payroll and admin tasks, communicating with families, and upholding provincial regulations. The role requires an RECE in good standing and CPR/First Aid certification, with a focus on staff development and program quality.

Qualifications

• A Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) must be in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
• Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and regulations
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
• Up-to-date immunization and Health Assessment as per local Ministry of Health Requirements
• CPR/First Aid Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Centre Director with overall centre operations including staff recruitment and development, policies, procedures, child safety and licensing.
• Ensure staff understand objectives and expectations in each classroom.
• Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general communications.
• Enforce provincial regulations within the building.
• Oversee training implementation for all staff members.
• Communicate effectively with families about their children.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Assisting Centre Director with managing the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
• Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Managing administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
• Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building.
• Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
• Providing effective communication with families about their child.
• All other duties as assigned.
