Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care Cambridge Centre, ON is seeking a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our toddler classroom. You will implement BrightPath’s curriculum, support child development, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• RECE certification in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath curriculum to support child development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Assess children’s abilities and needs and discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.


• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.


• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.


• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.


• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.


• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.


• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) - must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE


• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment


• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR


• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
