Job summary

RBC is seeking a Senior Director - Chief Developer and AI Adoption to lead a team delivering AI-enabled development at enterprise scale. You will shape strategy, drive productivity and ensure governance across security, data privacy and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with business, risk, and IT leaders to embed AI into the operating model, champion developer tooling, and deliver measurable productivity gains.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience with Java, .NET, Angular, REST APIs and Spring Framework.
• Experience with distributed cloud platforms (Pivotal Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, Docker).
• Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, OAuth2, SSL).
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka) and microservices design.

Responsibilities

• Lead high performing teams and ensure top quality of technical work.
• Define AI-assisted software development strategy and productivity improvements.
• Partner with business leaders to identify valuable AI use cases and enable adoption.
