RBC is seeking a Principal Technical Lead to drive the AI and platform modernization of ClientLink. You will set the technical vision, lead an engineering team, and establish standards that accelerate delivery and improve quality.

This role focuses on AI-enabled software engineering, governance, and scalable enterprise architecture. You will guide cross-functional teams across cloud-native, event-driven patterns, and API-first design, while balancing innovation with stability and reducing

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including large-scale enterprise apps.
5+ years of technical leadership leading engineering teams and strategic tech initiatives.
Proven success modernizing complex enterprise platforms using modern architectural patterns.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in Agile software delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic technical leadership to execute the ClientLink modernization roadmap.
Lead adoption and governance of the AI Engineering Platform with standardized skills and workflows.
Establish architecture principles and modernization roadmaps for enterprise tech strategies.
Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams and reduce technical debt.
Drive AI-enabled capabilities across requirements analysis to platform modernization.
