Job summary

RBC is seeking a Director in the AI Business Enablement team to own a sub-segment within a Line of Business, driving opportunity identification and program framing in close collaboration with vertical leadership.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to develop high-impact AI transformation opportunities, shape solution concepts, and ensure alignment between business context and technical execution. This role sits within RBC's AI Group and offers a comprehensive Total Rewards Program.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of progressive experience in management consulting, technology, AI/ML product development, or a combination thereof.
• Track record delivering AI or tech-driven solutions with material business impact; strategy and advisory experience valued, but hands-on delivery needed.
• Ability to engage VP/SVP-level stakeholders with credibility, earn trust, challenge thinking, and drive alignment.
• Experience in process re-engineering or business-model redesign enabled by technology or data.
• Experience partnering with technical or engineering teams to translate requirements into designs and ensure delivery.
• Consultative problem-solving approach to structure ambiguous problems and drive action.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, and data platforms to assess feasibility and shape concepts.
• Banking/financial services experience welcome but not required; focus on rapid domain knowledge development.

Responsibilities

• Engage business stakeholders at VP/SVP level and build trusted relationships.
• Identify, size, and develop AI transformation opportunities within your sub-segment with quantified value hypotheses.
• Generate innovative AI solution concepts and validate through rapid POC cycles (weeks, not quarters).
• Re‑engineer processes and operating models through an AI-enabled lens.
• Frame programs, support business case development, and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with AI Solutions and Research teams to align transformation goals with delivery.
• Surface cross-enterprise patterns and reuse opportunities across domains.
