Job summary

RBC is seeking an accomplished Lead AI Engineer in Toronto to design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions across the software development lifecycle. You will lead enterprise-scale AI initiatives, establish best practices, and advance the technical maturity of the engineering organization.

Qualifications

10+ years building and operating large-scale production software systems.
2–4 years hands-on with LLMs and generative AI in production.
Expert in .NET/C#, Java, Python, SQL, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Deep knowledge of MVC/MVVM, SOA, and Azure Integration Services.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise AI integration initiatives and establish best practices.
Design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions across SDLC.
Mentor teams in AI reviews, pilot projects, and technology adoption.
Evaluate AI platforms and architect scalable AI workflows.
