Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Winnipeg is seeking compassionate caregivers to support private clients at home. This role focuses on respectful companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care, delivered with a client‑centred approach in a home setting.

You will follow individualized care plans, maintain safety, document activities, and work flexible hours across weekdays and weekends to meet client needs. Training and ongoing support are provided by the team.

Qualifications

• Proof of Health Care Certification.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English; other languages are an asset.
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector.
• Must be able to legally work in Canada.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or companionship and personal care.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Service the Winnipeg area.
• Looking for all visit times on weekdays and weekends.
