Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Cash Manager to oversee the Cash Department in a locally owned store, keeping the customer at the centre of service.

You will lead cashier staff, interview and hire, schedule hours, and ensure compliance with store standards while delivering exceptional customer service. The role includes loss prevention, financial duties, and promotions, emphasizing teamwork and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example and ensures cashier staff demonstrate our CORE Values.
• Interviews and recommends final candidates for hiring cashiers.
• Schedules cashier staff hours, days off and vacations within established guidelines.
• Trains employees in job functions and provides coaching and instructions.
• Assists with completing performance reviews of cashier staff in conjunction with the FSM.
