Cannabis Supply Co. Fort St. John is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead one retail location, coach the team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will work on the floor with the staff, step into Store Manager responsibilities when needed, and help ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Cannabis retail knowledge is an asset, but a willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to obtain provincial cannabis certification.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and model high-quality customer service, including resolving escalations.
• Support team with informed cannabis education for customers.
• Assist in achieving store sales targets.
• Coach team on product recommendations and sales techniques.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales and customer retention.
• Maintain knowledge of products, categories, and regulations, and educate the team.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash handling.
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain store standards, including cleanliness and merchandising.
• Provide on-shift leadership and direction to team members.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
