Job summary

BC Public Service is seeking a Band 1 Store Manager for Cannabis Operations in the Lower Mainland. The role oversees a major retail cannabis operation, leads staff, drives revenue, and ensures compliance with policies and safety standards.

The position requires at least 3 years of retail leadership experience, a high school diploma, and willingness to work evenings/weekends. Training in Selling it Right and a criminal record check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience leading a team in a customer‑facing retail operation with customer service and assets management.
• Degree/diploma/certificate in business or retail management preferred.
• Formal course work in cannabis from a post-secondary institution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a major retail cannabis operation and drive sales targets.
• Develop and implement store plans, budgets and staffing to control costs.
• Hire, train, and develop staff; manage scheduling and labour relations as required.
