Job summary

Walmart Canada in Red Deer, AB is seeking an overnight stocking team lead to coordinate tasks, respond to issues, and mentor associates through teaching and training. Responsibilities

• Assists in providing direction and coordination of task completion per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Assesses overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies and executing merchandising display changes as needed.
• Maintains strong communication with associates; leads daily Team Huddle, sets goals, and tracks productivity.
• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is secured; all doors and lockups are secured when not in use; completes daily audits.
• Reviews completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team to identify training opportunities and provides feedback.
• Contributes to a safe, clean, hazard-free work environment by following policy and completing safety logs.
• Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
• Partners with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance growth conversations and supports recruiting.

Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.7. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.8.
