Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an overnight stocking associate to assist in guiding stocking teams and department processes. You will respond to issues, train associates, and support store operations on the sales floor as needed.

You will help plan department activities based on workload, ensure security of high-ticket items, lead daily huddles, and participate in performance conversations with leadership while supporting recruitment efforts. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing direction and coordination of task completion per priorities from General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Assesses store department presentation and makes corrective merchandising changes as needed.
• Leads daily Team Huddle at shift start; shares updates, sets goals and tracks productivity.
• Ensures high ticket merchandise and doors/lockups are secured; completes daily audits as required.
• Reviews completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours areas with Coach and associates to identify training opportunities and develop associates.
• Maintains a safe, clean, hazard-free work environment by following company policies and completing safety logs.
• Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
• Partners with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations; supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.7. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.8.
