Job summary

Walmart Canada seeks an overnight stocking leader to help direct department activities and lead the stock teams. You will respond to issues, train associates, and coordinate tasks to match workload and store priorities.

You will drive merchandising changes, lead team huddles, and ensure security of high-value items while upholding safety and policy standards. Roles include scheduling reviews, coaching, and supporting recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in directing task completion per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management.
• Assesses overall presentation of store departments, notes deficiencies, and executes merchandising changes.
• Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at shift start, and shares updates.
• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is secured, doors and lockups are secured when not in use, and completes daily audits.
• Reviews completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours areas with the Coach and team to identify training opportunities and provide feedback.
• Maintains a safe, clean, hazard-free work environment by following policy and completing safety logs.
• Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
• Partners with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance and growth conversations; supports recruiting.

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the overnight stocking teams and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries and develop associates through teaching and training.Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.What you'll do...1. Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program.5. Review completed schedules with People Lead. 6. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.7. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.8.
