Job summary

Walmart Canada in Oakville is seeking an overnight stocker lead to assist in directing stocking teams and department operations. You will respond to problems, train associates, and help plan department activities based on workload and store needs.

Responsibilities include leading shift huddles, ensuring security of high-ticket items, reviewing schedules, and coordinating with coaches to drive performance and development.

• Assesses overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes as required.
• Leads daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, communicates updates, sets goals and tracks productivity.
• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is secured, doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completes daily audits per program.
• Reviews completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours areas with Coach and team associates to identify training opportunities and develop associates through teaching.
• Maintains a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment per policy and procedures, including safety sweep logs and securing displays.
• Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
• Partners with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance and growth conversations for associates and supports recruiting.
