Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Overnight Stocking Team Leader in Edson, AB. You will assist in directing overnight stocking tasks, coach associates, and ensure displays are up to standard.

You will also lead safety audits and daily team huddles, driving productivity and reduced shrink. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, securing high-ticket items, and supporting management with training and performance conversations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience leading overnight stocking teams is a plus.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Ability to plan and coordinate department tasks based on workload.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing direction and coordinating task completion per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management.
• Assess overall department presentation and arrange merchandising displays; fix deficiencies as needed.
• Lead daily Team Huddle at shift start; share updates, set goals and track productivity.
• Ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured; lockups are closed when not in use; perform daily audits.
• Review schedules with People Lead and ensure staffing aligns with demand.
• Tour areas with Coach to identify training opportunities and develop associates.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, hazard-free environment following policies and completing safety logs.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support Management.
• Partner with Coach/People Lead for performance growth conversations and assist with recruiting.

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the overnight stocking teams and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries and develop associates through teaching and training.Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.What you'll do...1. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and the Store Management Team.2. Assesses the overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.3. Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.4. Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program.5. Review completed schedules with People Lead. 6. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.7. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.8.
