Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing direction and coordination of task completion as per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Assesses overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes.
• Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provides the team with updates, sets goals, and tracks productivity.
• Ensures all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completes daily audits as per program.
• Reviews completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities.
• Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment following Company policy and procedures, including safety sweep logs and securing displays and fixtures.
• Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
• Partners with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates; supports recruiting and hiring new associates.
