Job summary

Walmart Canada in Cowansville, QC is seeking an overnight stocking lead to coordinate tasks, coach associates and maintain store presentation. You will supervise the flow of overnight work, run daily huddles, and ensure secure storage of high-ticket items while upholding safety standards.

The role involves supporting scheduling, training opportunities, and partnering with Coaches to drive performance and growth. This position is based on-site at 1770 Rue Du Sud, Cowansville.

Qualifications

• Overnight stocking or similar retail leadership experience.
• Ability to plan and coordinate tasks per priorities.
• Strong communication and team-huddle facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing direction and coordination of task completion as per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Assesses store department presentation and appearance, notes deficiencies and executes merchandising changes.
• Leads daily Team Huddle, communicates updates, sets goals and tracks productivity.
• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is secured, doors and lockups are secured when not in use, performs daily audits.
• Reviews completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours areas with Coach and team to identify training opportunities and develops associates through teaching.
• Maintains a safe, clean hazard-free environment per policy; completes safety logs; ensures displays/fixtures are secure.
• Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
• Partners with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance development and growth conversations; supports recruiting.

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the overnight stocking teams and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries and develop associates through teaching and training.Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.What you'll do...1. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and the Store Management Team.2. Assesses the overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.3. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.7.
