Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Mississauga is seeking a Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program, helping to maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You will cooperate with store associates to clean all Fresh Departments, comply with Food Safety standards, inspect cleaning equipment, ensure supplies, and promote safety by completing required in-store certifications and adhering to company policies.

• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
