Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Maintenance Cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program and help control expenses while keeping the store clean and safe for customers and associates.

The role includes coordinating with the Stocking Coach and store associates on cleaning regimens, following food safety standards, cleaning fresh departments, inspecting equipment, and supporting in-store safety certification programs according to company policies.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
