Job summary

Walmart Canada in Cornwall, Ontario is seeking a Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program, helping maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment for customers and associates.

You will cooperate with store teams, follow food safety standards, clean fresh departments, inspect equipment, and ensure supplies are stocked; this role starts at the base wage of CAD 18.05 per hour and requires candidates 18 or older. On-site, fast-paced retail setting.

• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
