Job summary

Walmart Canada in Laval, QC is seeking a Maintenance/Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured cleaning program and help keep the store clean, safe and compliant with food safety and cold chain guidelines.

Responsibilities include cleaning Fresh Departments, inspecting equipment, stocking supplies, and supporting in-store certification programs to promote a safe working environment. The role starts at a minimum hourly rate of $19.05 CAD.

• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
