What You'll Do...
  1. Ensure safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness, evacuations, register shutdowns, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
  2. Handle customer and associate concerns and provide guidance as required.
  3. Monitor all front end associates ensuring proper coverage, coordinating breaks, and assisting with register operations.
  4. Provide training to associates on systems and company procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, programs, discounts, EAS system, and safety.
  5. Oversee purchase, return, and exchange transactions, assist with error correction, provide approvals, and verify processes to meet company guidelines.
  6. Ensure all EAS systems are functioning properly, including cashier deactivation and greeter issue handling, and complete related logs.
  7. Prepare registers for opening and closing, support cashiers with change, maintain cash levels, and complete register audits.
  8. Promote and oversee company-sponsored programs and initiatives, such as credit card services, protection plans, charity initiatives, and discounts.
