Purpose of the Role:

The Business Initiatives Manager, Insurance Services reports to the Director, Insurance Services and is responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and advancement of Private Wealth programs with a focus on Insurance Services programs. In collaboration with the Private Wealth Business Management & Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing Private Wealth improvements, identifying opportunities for development and enhancement, and executing on a variety of Private Wealth and strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement and support our business as it scales.

In this role, the Business Initiatives Manager, Insurance Services will play a pivotal role in building out our insurance division working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and monitor the progress of the projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that the projects stay on track, meet the objectives , and are completed within the allotted time and budget.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Translate high-level strategic objectives into clearly defined project plans, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives, managing interdependencies, timelines, and budgets to ensure effective execution.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks and constraints across projects and initiatives.
  • Facilitate discussions and act as a liaison between internal teams (e.g., Private Wealth Operations) and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and responsiveness to client needs.
  • Monitor program performance, maintain forecasts, and provide regular updates on status, risks, and key metrics to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to leverage business intelligence and data analytics that support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Support departmental business planning, including budgeting, financial projections, and resource allocation.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to systems, workflows, and processes that improve efficiency, revenue growth, and service delivery.
  • Ensure alignment of initiatives with organizational priorities and client experience standards while developing long-term sustainment and benefit realization strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, legal, and internal standards.
  • Apply change management practices to support adoption and success of strategic initiatives.
  • Take ownership of evolving responsibilities as organizational needs change.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • University degree, or college diploma in the field of Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or equivalent related job experience.
  • 8+ years in program management, business operations, or strategic planning, ideally within financial services, wealth management, or professional services.
  • Application of structured program, project, and change management methodologies.
  • Creation and execution of Program Roadmaps from Strategic Initiatives.
  • Project Management Institute, PgMP or PMP certification an asset.
  • PROSCI or CMP certification an Asset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer
Compensation & Benefits Package:

This position comes with a base salary range of $95,000 - $115,000plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit-sharing program. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
