Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor for exterior building supply, is seeking an enthusiastic branch manager to oversee all operations at the Edmonton location. You will mentor a growing team and collaborate with the Roofmart Sales Team to deliver world-class support and build long-term relationships with customers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in warehouse/retail management or sales, plus a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business/Sales/Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred.
• 5+ years of successful warehouse/retail management or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the local retail branch.
• Mentor and grow your core team and build a strong in-branch team.
• Collaborate with Roofmart Sales Team to support and develop customer relationships.
• Grow new business and expand market share by offering solutions to contractors and homeowners.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of the local retail branch
• Mentoring and growing your core team, recognizing that a manager’s success is only possible with a strong team
• Working closely with the vibrant Roofmart Sales Team to provide world class support and build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers as well as assist in the development of new customers
• Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions to the needs of current and future contractors, homeowners and customers by converting them away from competitor products

Qualifications

• College Diploma or bachelor’s degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 5 or more years of successful warehouse/retail management, sales experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Ability to travel
