Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor for exterior building supply, seeks a Sales Specialist to develop and manage customer relationships, drive sales growth, and expand market share with contractors, architects, and clients.

You will define and execute strategic sales plans, collaborate with suppliers, and provide product education to customers and internal teams, with a competitive compensation package and company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in building long-term relationships with customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Authorized to work in Canada and able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of Roofmart products.
• Grow new business and expand market share by providing solutions for contractors, architects and customers.
• Define, build, implement and monitor Sales Plan with targets and priorities.
• Educate customers and staff on products; manage sample and stock levels; coordinate payments with credit managers.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities: Developing and managing relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of Company products Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions for the needs of current and future contractors, architects and customers Defining, building, implementing and monitoring Sales Plan, including sales strategies, targets, and priorities Creating action plans for defined sales targets and working with our suppliers to execute the plans Educating customers and staff on products; managing customer sample & educational stock levels Managing customer payments & credit in coordination with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations, and AR adjustments within set rules

Qualifications:

Qualifications: Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset College Diploma or Degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 3 or more years of successful Sales experience Valid driver’s license Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations Authorized to work in Canada Ability to travel

Salary range:

Salary range: 60.000 - 80.000/year + comission ***this is a replacement***
