Job summary

Roofmart is seeking a Sales Specialist in Victoria, Canada to manage relationships with existing customers and develop new ones while implementing a comprehensive sales plan.

The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or degree, a minimum of three years roofing sales experience, and excellent communication skills. This role offers a competitive salary of $75-95k per annum plus commission, along with a range of benefits including health and life insurance, paid vacation, and an RRSP match.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years successful Roofing Sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support and build relationships with existing customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage, support and build relationships with existing customers as well as develop new customers
• Grow new business and expand market share by providing solutions to the needs of current and future contractors, architects and customers by converting them away from competitor products.
• Defining, building, implementing and monitoring Sales Plan, including sales strategies, targets, and priorities
• Creating action plans for defined sales targets and working with our suppliers to execute the plans
• Educating customers and staff on products; managing customer sample & educational stock levels
• Managing customer payments & credit in coordination with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations, and AR adjustments within set rules

Qualifications

• College Diploma or Degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 3 or more years of successful Roofing Sales experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Ability to travel
