Job summary

Roofmart, Canada’s National distributor for Exterior Building Supply, seeks a branch leader to manage all operations and grow the local market. You will mentor and develop the store team, collaborate with the Roofmart Sales Team to support customers, and expand relationships with contractors and homeowners.

The role requires a college diploma or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of management or sales experience, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel within Canada.

Qualifications

• College Diploma or bachelor’s degree (Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 5+ years of warehouse/retail management or sales experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to mentor and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the local retail branch.
• Mentor and grow your core team to build a strong, capable management group.
• Collaborate with Roofmart Sales Team to support customers and develop new business.
• Grow market share by providing solutions to contractors, homeowners, and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of the local retail branch
• Mentoring and growing your core team, recognizing that a manager’s success is only possible with a strong team
• Working closely with the vibrant Roofmart Sales Team to provide world class support and build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers as well as assist in the development of new customers
• Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions to the needs of current and future contractors, homeowners and customers by converting them away from competitor products

Qualifications

• College Diploma or bachelor’s degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 5 or more years of successful warehouse/retail management, sales experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Ability to travel
