Columbia Forest Products, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to support CFP employees and assist the HR Manager in talent acquisition, employee relations, policy implementation, and compliance.

The role requires bilingual French and English communication and a commitment to CFP's values. The HR Generalist will work closely with managers and the HR team to ensure smooth HR operations, accurate records, and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 3 years of HR or related experience.
• Bilingual in French and English with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll administration.
• Maintain accurate personnel files in HRIS with confidentiality.
• Support the full-cycle recruiting process: job postings, screening, interviews, offers.
• Onboard new employees through HRIS ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation with new employees.
• Assist with benefits questions and policy interpretation.
• Administer all FMLA/LOA/STD processes.
• Foster continuous improvement within the HR team.
• Engage with employees regularly in the mill environment.
