Job summary

RBC Insurance Group seeks an Insurance Advisor to provide home and auto insurance guidance to clients over the phone. You’ll assess needs, present suitable solutions and uphold a high-quality customer experience across English and French conversations.

You will contribute to team goals by proactively recommending personal insurance options and collaborating with internal partners, while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate underwriting support.

Qualifications

• Must have bilingual English and French abilities to serve clients.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to build relationships.
• Clear communication in both languages and across channels.
• Understand regulatory risk when underwriting home & auto policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls.
• Maintain a positive client experience and resolve concerns at first contact.
• Complete personalized needs assessments using tools and calculators to support recommendations.
• Demonstrate understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting home & auto policies.
• Apply procedures effectively during conversations with clients.
• Collaborate with partners to work as one RBC team.
