Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Calgary is seeking a Guest Services Representative to ensure every shopper interaction is professional, courteous and efficient. You will maintain knowledge of the centre’s services and promotions and promote gift cards while delivering outstanding service.

This on-site role requires strong communication in English and French, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a friendly, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• High school education is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and French.
• Good computer skills and proficiency with common software.
• Positive attitude with a strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively with shoppers, retailers, and centre staff.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.
• Conflict resolution/management skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the centre's services, amenities/facilities, stores/locations and promotional activities.
• Proactively create memorable customer interactions and provide excellent service.
• Interact with shoppers and retailers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Promote and sell shopping centre gift cards.
• Answer phone calls.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and educate them about centre services.
• Assist guests by providing directions/information, answering questions, and sharing centre details.
• Maintain knowledge about products, services, promotions and events to offer gifts or store suggestions.
• Be aware of the centre's Crisis Management Manual and understand Guest Services responsibilities.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Support the supervisor with administrative tasks (schedules, gift cards).
• Update travel brochures displays and inventories.
