Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Guest Services Representative in Montreal, QC to be the face of our shopping centre, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting operations, partners, and promotional activities.

Your day-to-day involves knowing the centre's services, engaging with shoppers, selling gift cards, and assisting with events. Multitasking and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous cash handling and POS experience.
  • Previous customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong bilingual communication skills (French/English).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and maintaining professionalism.
  • Conflict resolution and management skills with a solution-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and during mall hours.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of the shopping centre's services, amenities, facilities, stores, locations, promotional activities, and guest comfort tools.
  • Proactively engage with shoppers to create memorable interactions, provide directions, answer questions, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Sell shopping centre gift cards, process transactions accurately, and maintain sales reconciliation.
  • Assist with promotional events including ballot distribution/collection/sorting, gift-with-purchase programs, and special event ticket sales.
  • Communicate effectively with shoppers, retailers, centre management, service providers, and all shopping centre personnel.
  • Stay current on store merchandise, pricing, sales and events to offer personalized gift suggestions.
  • Support the implementation of the centre's Crisis Management Manual and understand Guest Services' role in the emergency plan.

Qualifications requises :
  • Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent
  • Expérience préalable en gestion de transactions et en utilisation de systèmes de point de vente (PDV)
  • Expérience préalable en service à la clientèle dans un environnement de vente au détail ou d'hôtellerie
  • Solides compétences de communication bilingues (français/anglais), tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral
  • Capacité démontrée à travailler dans un environnement au rythme rapide tout en gérant plusieurs tâches et en maintenant un haut niveau de professionnalisme
  • Compétences en résolution et gestion de conflits avec une approche axée sur les solutions
  • Flexibilité pour travailler les week-ends, les soirs et les jours fériés, et disponibilité pendant toutes les heures d'ouverture du centre commercial
Qualifications préférées :
