Job summary

NAV CANADA is seeking a Team Supervisor, Credit and Collections to lead a dedicated team responsible for accounts receivable activities and revenue management. You will oversee credit risk, ensure effective collection practices, and balance customer relationships with financial safeguards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in credit and collections, and the ability to drive improvements while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in credit, collections or financial risk with supervisory experience.
• Post-secondary education in accounting or related field.
• Experience negotiating payment resolutions with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional supervision to the Accounts Receivable Collections team.
• Lead credit risk mitigation and drive process improvements.
• Monitor overdue accounts, assess credit risk exposure and collaborate with collectors for recovery actions.
• Analyze customer data, industry trends, financial ratings and conditions to assess risk.
• Report risks and trends to the Manager, Credit and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare and maintain reports for the AR Collections Committee and corporate reporting.
• Understand NAV CANADA’s rate structure and billing processes and communicate with customers.
