Job summary

Air Liquide Canada is seeking an Accounts Receivable Agent to support sales and customer service by providing credit services to customers, maintaining strong relationships, and contributing to the financial health of Air Liquide Canada.

The role is based at the Anjou office and requires at least 5 years of AR/collections experience, plus a post-secondary diploma in administration. Strong French and English communication, and familiarity with SAP/Oracle are valued.

Qualifications

Requires at least 5 years in accounts receivable, collections, or customer service.
Post-secondary diploma or college degree in administration or related field.
Fluent in French and English for Canada-wide customer service.
Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable collections and keep aging at 45 days or less.
Review delinquent accounts and contact customers to collect outstanding amounts.
Negotiate repayment methods and terms with customers and send standard collection letters.
Coordinate with third parties to assist in collection efforts.
Process credit applications and analyze customer credit status and limits.
Maintain customer records and daily entries; reconcile monthly accounts.
Advise sales on credit risks and customer status; ensure timely payments.
Ensure payments are credited accurately and follow quality procedures.
